Celebrity Big Brother Betting

Caps doffed to the Channel 4 for gathering together a genuinely stellar cast for this year’s Celebrity Big Brother. OK it’s not exactly Brad Pitt and Cheryl Cole but give me the unguarded fruits of the Baldwin or Beacham tree any day.

Predictably Vinnie Jones is favourite with extrabet but at 5/2 we haven’t seen too much action on the ex-footballer. Where our shrewder punters have been playing is on Lady Sovereign (7/1 from 12/1) and Stephen Baldwin (10/1 from 20/1).

A quick crash-course in betting on Celebrity Big Brother is that he/she with the most airtime will nearly always get to the final 3. Baldwin seems this person so far.

Elsewhere Alex Reid may be a big price but as one TV producer explained to me “he wants and needs it more than anyone else in there and the only way is up for this creature”. Currently he trades at 20/1 with Heidi Fleiss bringing up the rear!
