Understandably there is a huge focus on the Champions League this week but shrewder punters at extrabet have been backing Aston Villa to give Manchester United a walloping this weekend in the Carling Cup Final.

The fact is that for United this just another big game amongst a plethora of huge matches at this time of the season. For Villa this is their Everest and this season they have already beaten Man United at Old Trafford and drawn at home.
As such Aston Villa at 3/1 to win the game have to be a consideration. Add to this that Rio Ferdinand will not play in the final and Man United have generally not had the best of results at the ‘New’ Wembley.
