Lib Dems Coming Late on the Rails...

In a week where everyone has focused on the internal foibles of the Labour Party and various misdemeanours in the Conservative Party there are those who forget there is a 3rd runner in the field.

Here at extrabet we run our ‘Next General Election Seats’ spread betting market. Simply it asks the punter how many seats each party will get in the Next Election.

Currently Labour are priced at 211-216 seats with the Conservatives 346-351 seats. However over the last few weeks the big movers have been the Liberal Democrats who have risen from 51-54 seats to 54-57 seats. A 4% rise is not to be sniffed at.

Labour are in decline (213-218 to 211-216 this week). Also what with many saying that Cameron is the ‘least worst’ vote for the people, you would do well to remember that with the TV debates on the horizon Nick Clegg could make further inroads into the red and blue dominance of the British political landscape.

Of course there is no chance of a genuine challenge but softly-softly catchy monkey.

Next General Election Party Seats
Labour 211-216
Conservatives 346-351
Lib Dems 54-57

To win the next Election

Labour 6/1
Conservatives 1/11
LibDems 80/1
