Premier League Betting

?Premier League betting reaches boiling point this weekend as Chelsea and Manchester United race to the finish line and Man City, Spurs, Liverpool and Villa chase down 4th.

extrabet currently have Chelsea as 4/7 favourites to win the title and you would have thought a home fixture against Stoke was a gimme 3 points. Evidently others have thought that too but Stoke have drawn 8 of 16 fixtures away from home this season ? more than any other team. Currently they trade at 6/1 on extrabet to make it a 9th.

Conversely the betting on Manchester United v Tottenham game looks a closer game however Spurs haven?t beaten United since the last Millennium and not since 1989 at Old Trafford. At 4/9 United look rock solid to keep their title bid alive.

Online bookmaker extrabet have seen opinion split this week. Chris Shillington explains further ...
?The business end of the season always throw up strange results and even though the stats suggest they are no-hopers it is Spurs who punters are wading into as their ?Weekend-Wallet-Warmer ??
